That question has guided more than a decade of reporting and editing across U.S. and European markets. Finance can look abstract on a screen, but its consequences are deeply human: the cost of borrowing, the security of a pension, the future of a business or the confidence to make a decision.

I became a journalist to close the gap between financial complexity and everyday understanding. I look for the decision-relevant fact quickly. Then I stay with the story long enough to explain why it matters, whether it begins with a central-bank release, a market move, a company announcement or an executive interview.

My CAIA and FRM qualifications help me ask better questions. I can challenge assumptions, understand how risk travels through a portfolio and speak to sources in the language of the markets they operate in. Newsroom experience brings judgment, skepticism, empathy and the discipline to make every word earn its place.

I now work across breaking news, analysis, interviews, video, visual explainers and strategic financial content. In every format, I start with the audience’s next question and build the reporting around evidence.
